由欧盟驻华代表团主办的第十届中国欧盟电影展将于10月16日星期一在北京三里屯美嘉电影院开幕。一年一度的欧盟电影展不仅是欧盟28个成员国电影创作者们精彩作品的展现平台，而且已经成为了中国标志性的定期文化活动。今年，欧盟电影展将在北京、成都、上海、济南和深圳五个城市举行。

欧盟电影展致力于展映每个成员国最负有盛名和与众不同的电影，今年展映片单中有戛纳电影节金棕榈奖电影《魔方》（又名《自由广场》），最佳影片提名《木星之卫》，还有“一种关注”单元提名电影《方向》、《远方》。

同时，今年柏林电影节的佳作也会在影展放映，包括银熊奖得主《希望的另一面》、《糜骨之壤》以及《安娜，我的爱》，并且还有金熊奖提名的《酒会》、《疯狂的老鼠》。

本次影展还值得关注的新片是来自意大利的《肥伊不容易》——一个失败的卡丁车赛车手重寻生活意义的故事；和来自爱沙尼亚的《三傻西行记》——关于80年代几个青年对斯堪的纳维亚半岛西部的向往故事。这两部电影的导演将于10月16日至19日在北京出席电影展映现场，与观众进行互动。

《派对把妹秘诀》作为与J.U.S.T.奇幻电影基地合作策划的特别展映单元中的独特作品，将于10月22日在北京法国文化研究中心、10月25日和29日在798艺术区的尤伦斯当代艺术中心（UCCA）进行展映。

这些电影由中国欧盟电影展与欧洲国家电影局以及欧洲和中国的主要电影发行公司合作精心挑选，包括数梦国际传媒有限公司，柠檬树国际传媒有限公司，火柴工厂国际电影销售公司，窗外年华影视文化传播有限公司和豆蔻国际电影公司。

北京的展映将于10月14日至31日在三里屯美嘉电影院、百老汇MOMA电影院、卢米埃芳草地影院、法国文化中心、北京大学和尤伦斯当代艺术中心举行。成都的展映将于11月01日至14日在成都百丽宫太古里店举行。上海场次的放映则将于11月17日至26日在上海百美汇百丽宫影城举行，《木星之卫》的导演凯内尔·穆德卢佐（Kornél Mundruczó）将出席开幕式和介绍此次新片！济南展映将于11月29日至12月25日在百丽宫济南恒隆广场店举行。深圳场次将于12月08日至17日在百老汇深圳购物公园店、卢米埃深圳华强北九方店以及南山万象天地新开业的百老汇电影院举行。

12月份，欧盟电影展将带着更多的电影和电影人回归北京，并在法国文化中心、尤伦斯当代艺术中心（UCCA）和北京师范大学继续进行展映。导演嘉伯·克林格（Gabe Klinger），摩尔特·特拉维克（Morten Traavik），菲利普·安托·马利诺夫斯基（Filip Anton Malinowski），以及欧洲电影学院短片项目的来访者将与观众见面！

10thanniversary edition of EU Film Festival to be launched in Beijing

Beijing, 12thOct 2017 – The 10thedition of the European Union Film Festival in China (EUFF) will be officially launched on Monday 16thOctober in a ceremony at the Sanlitun Megabox cinema in Beijing. Organized by the Delegation of the European Union to China, the annual festival has become a regular feature on the map of cultural events in China and is a splendid display of cinematic creators from all 28 member states of the European Union. The EUFF will visit Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Jinan, and Shenzhen.

The EUFF is dedicated to screening each Member State’s most prestigious and distinctive films, including Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or winner THE SQUARE, as well as the strange and sombre journey of Nominee JUPITER’S MOON, and Un Certain Regard Nominees DIRECTIONS and OUT.

The best of the Berlinale also arrives in China this year, including Silver Bear Winners THE OTHER SIDE OF HOPE, SPOOR, and ANA MON AMOUR. Also Golden Bear Nominations WILD MOUSE and THE PARTY.

New films to look out for are the surprise hit from Italy, EASY, which is the story of a failed go-kart racer searching for a new meaning in life, and SANGARID from Estonia, about the desire for the Western Scandinavian lifestyle during the 1980s. The directors of both of these films will be present in Beijing for Q&A sessions at screenings Oct. 16 ~ 19.

In a special section curated in collaboration with J.U.S.T. Fantasy Film Base, HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES will be screened at the Institut Francais on October 22 and at the UCCA in 798 on October 25, and 29.

The films are carefully selected by the EUFF in collaboration with European national film bureaus, as well as major film distribution companies in Europe and China, including DDDream, Lemon Tree, The Match Factory, Time-In-Portrait, and Cercamon Films.

Screenings in Beijing will take place from October 14 ~ 31 at Sanlitun Megabox, Broadway MOMA Cinematheque, Lumiere Pavilions at Parkview Green, the Institut Francais, Beijing University, and the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art. Screenings in Chengdu will take place from November 01 ~ 14 at the Palace Cinema Taikooli. Screenings in Shanghai will take place from November 17 ~ 26 at the Premiere Cinema Baimeihui, Kerry Center, where Kornél Mundruczó, director of JUPITER’S MOON, will be our honored guest to open the screenings and present his film! Screenings in Jinan will take place from November 29 ~ December 05 at the Palace Cinema Henglong Guangchang. Screenings in Shenzhen will take place from December 08 ~ 17 at the Broadway Cinema COCO Park, the Lumiere Cinema at Beijiufang, and a new Broadway Cinema location just opening at Nanshan Wanxiang Tiandi.

In December the EUFF will bring even more films and filmmakers to Beijing, with continued screenings at the Institut Francais, UCCA, and Beijing Normal University. Directors Gabe Klinger, Morten Traavik, Filip Anton Malinowski, and visitors from the European Film Academy’s shorts program will attend to meet the audience!
